The Lexus LX 570 is one of the best crossovers you can drive in the year 2020. The LX is a powerful driving machine merging great qualities like luxury, power, style, large interior space, and high-level status.
As I test drive this luxury high-end crossover, the Lexus LX 570 in the roads and off-roads of Florida, I start to fall in love with its luxury spacious interior and the powerful bolt exterior style that gets everyone attention on the road. The LX 570 will make your neighbors jealous. Besides its beauty, you feel powerful when riding this large SUV with a 383 Horsepower.
The Lexus LX model initials mean “Luxury Crossover”. This full-size luxury SUV is available as a two-row or three-row, serving those who need more seats for more passengers.
The LX 570 is a masterpiece, but the ticket price is high for the average SUV buyer, starting around $86K. However, for those that can afford the LX, the pleasure and enjoyment of driving it can be very rewarding
Driving the Lexus LX 570 you can feel the power of this reliable SUV. The LX can be a dual-purpose luxury vehicle, from a short drive in the city to a long family vacation in the most adventurous off-road destination.
The history of the LX started in 1996 with its first production, based largely on the long-lasting Toyota Land Cruiser. At the present time, the LX is sold in Russia, Brunei, Australia, New Zealand, the Dominican Republic, China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, the Middle East, and North America, where the related Toyota Land Cruiser is also sold. Surprisingly it is not available in Japan.
TRIMS AND OPTIONS
The LX 570 is offered in a single trim level with plenty of high-end standard features included. The Lexus LX 570 does not offer trim levels and there are not so many optional features, so every LX sold is well equipped. Buyers can select an LX with two or three rows of seats.
- LX-570 two-row, starting around $86K
- LX-570 three-row, starting around $91K
For 2021 Lexus also offers a premium LX Inspirational Series, starting around $99K
MY WISHLIST
I love the LX, but there is always room for improvement. I would love to see the following features on upcoming versions of the LX
- The second and third rows with more space and versatility
- Better fuel economy, even for a luxury SUV, the current 12/16 MPG City/Highway is poor
- Lexus infotainment system could be more intuitive. The mouse-like center controller is tricky to operate, and the menu-intensive software can prove distracting
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is urgently needed
- More USB Ports! The LX 570 could have more USB charge ports. This is a big car for families and big groups, and we all need more USB ports!
- A lower-cost trim. It can be very appealing for this segment to have an LX-570 priced around 70K, can Lexus do the magic? and give us a lower-cost model?

The 50/50-split third-row seat design could have some improvement folding to the ground instead of the sides. Behind the rear seats, the LX has just 9.1 cubic feet of cargo space, after folding the third row up against the sidewalls increases to 45 cubic feet. Rival SUVs Provide larger cargo space.

FUEL ECONOMY
One of the weak points for the LX is poor fuel economy. This is not an easy task as the LX 570 is big and strong as a war-tank but transformed into a large luxury SUV.
